Some studies have indicated that testosterone levels are fueled by zinc and vitamin B, which can be found in certain foods and estrogen levels are fuelled by Phytoestrogens. Phytoestrogens, also known as dietary estrogen, are naturally occurring plant compounds that may act in a way similar to that of estrogen produced by the human body.

According to various studies, these foods may impact libido. Even if you don’t notice a big boost in desire, these items have plenty of other health benefits as well!

High in Indole-3-carbinol, which helps reduce estrogen levels, broccoli may be a great libido boosting food for men.

Watermelon

Watermelon contains citrulline, which is converted into arginine in the body. These chemicals relax blood vessels — just like the basic effect of Viagra.

Flax seeds

Flax seed is incredibly rich in lignans, a group of chemical compounds that functions as phytoestrogens. In fact, flax seeds contain up to 800 times more lignans than other plant foods. Interestingly, an analysis of studies suggests that lignan-rich diets may decrease the risk of breast cancer by 15% in postmenopausal women. This is possibly related to lignans’ effects on estrogen production and blood levels, as well as their expression the body.

Cruciferous vegetables

Cruciferous vegetables are a large group of plants with diverse flavours, textures, and nutrients. Cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage are all cruciferous vegetables rich in phytoestrogens.

Cauliflower and broccoli are rich in secoisolariciresinol, a type of lignan phytoestrogen. Additionally, Brussels sprouts and cabbage are rich in coumestrol, another type of phytonutrient that has been shown to exhibit estrogenic activity
